Construction commences at Basingstoke

Kier Construction have been appointed to develop Logistics City Basingstoke.
The units will be available for occupation in Q1 2019.

Construction update

The construction of Trade and Logistics City is progressing well and on programme.
There is now five months to go until practical completion.


Planning consent granted!

February 2016

We have been granted planning consent for a 4 unit Logistics City scheme totalling 172,336 sq ft.
This is in conjunction with the 12 unit Trade City scheme.
Construction is due to commence shortly and available for occupation in Q1 2017.

Steels are now up on Trade and Logistics City, Thurrock.

Evolution 50 Kicks off an impressive speculative build

This 51,634 sq ft speculative development at Walworth Business Park, by Test Valley Borough Council and Kier Property, moves an exciting step closer with works due to commence in December 2015 and a completion date scheduled for summer 2016.

Located in a prominent position on a corner plot of 2.64 acres at the junction of Walworth Road and Central Way, Evolution 50 will be a high quality detached warehouse and industrial building and is the first new build development since a major regeneration project was agreed between Test Valley Borough Council and Kier Property in May 2011.

The building specification will include two dock level and four full height level access loading doors on a fully self-contained site. The building will be built to achieve an ‘A’ EPC Energy rating. This 10 metre high bay warehouse benefiting from 50 KN/sq m (800lbs/ sq ft) power floated floor and will incorporate integral first floor offices fronting onto the main estate road, Walworth Road, with separate office parking and a separate yard area and additional parking accessed off Central Way. There will be a total of 106 car spaces at one space per 45 sq m.

Selco takes 15 year lease at Thurrock

Unit A totalling 36,168 sq ft has been pre let to Selco for a term certain of 15 years. There are three units available totalling 136,169 sq ft.

Thurrock commences construction

Construction has commenced on the Trade and Logistics City development at Thurrock and will be delivered in February 2017.

Frimley starts on site

The logistics city development at Frimley will be developed spec to accompany the recently completed Trade City phase.  The development, situated on 10 acres has transformed the once derelict buildings into a vibrant  160,000 sf ft hub.

The site, located with easy access to junction 4 of the M3, adds to Kier’s already extensive portfolio of industrial developments across London and the south-east.
